Marcelina Martin Studio

Marcelina Martin provides video production and specialized photography. Her videos take the viewer on a journey of discovery and inspiration. These videos are used in education, fundraising, and promotion. Well articulated projects educate visitors on a variety of issues whether you are a nonprofit or artist selling your work. Creating good campaigns on Kickstarter and IndieGoGo require a video to present what you are raising funds for. Marcelina is a pleasure to work with on any video project whether it's preproduction or postproduction.

My photography developed along several paths over the last few decades: documenting social movements, exploring the inner and outer landscapes, and using art as a tool of spiritual practice for psychological and community transformation. The way we perceive reality is influenced by a complex range of imagery. Heroes and myths are intricately woven into our psyches. Our ideas of individual identity, social place, and interrelatedness coalesce from this matrix of images.

Video Production

Website interactivity increases likelihood of viewers understanding what your organization or personal work is about. Adding videos of 1-6 minutes contributes to visitors being better informed of the mission and purpose of your work. I specialize in working with activist nonprofits particularly environmental, LGBTQ, community organizations and health based projects.

Documentary Film

As a filmmaker my films focus on subjects which are healing to the individual, the community and the planet. My creative vision is to transport the viewer through powerful imagery and music from innovative musicians and stir the depths of the soul. I have produced one feature length documentary: Mining The Unconscious- the Artist's Journey. Mining The Unconscious had its World Premiere at the Dharamsala International Film Festival. It was shown as part of The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness The Dalai Lama in collaboration with The Choe Khor Sum Ling Centre Spiritual Film Festival in Delhi and Bangalore, India. Woodstock Museum Film Festival, Chicago Amarcord Arthouse TV Awards, Largo Film Awards, and Red Phoenix International Fim Festival all screened MTU in 2017. Mining The Unconscious was also shown at the Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2016. I am very excited to announce that you can now rent or purchase Mining The Unconscious as a streaming movie on my personal site or on Amazon Prime.
